Pellets are a superb environmentally friendly and economical horse bedding solution. They are made from absorbent and cost-effective materials such as wood or straw that are particularly easy to store. Their absorbency means there is minimal bedding waste, whilst providing an easier, quicker and low-maintenance mucking-out option. Often, those using pellets use them in conjunction with a layer of rubber matting, which helps to provide support underfoot as well as a non-slip surface.
